A short list: Storytelling with First Steps of SC (all about the importance of reading), On becoming a Jr. Curator afterall Charleston is a historic city and we have many museums to visit and learn from. Interviewing many who are running for office and a few who are not, but wish to spend time with our “backpackers”.. The Hemingway’ 6-word story. Citadel events are ahead, meeting Veterans who have served our country and featured in portraits at the City Gallery opening upcoming.. In our classrooms, we continue to study the works of Norman Rockwell, Leonard Freed and incorporate photography in our stories and short films. We love our local media support from CBS to ABC and even our radio hosts who asked us about hosting our own podcast! The summer time seemed to be gone to quickly – but we welcome the fall and back to school, in the afternoons!
Fun ahead also – as we continue to be asked to participate in parades and public events – from MOJA Arts Festival coming up, and Veterans Day and Christmas! Great opportunities for fellowship!
Note: We are offering Saturday School – frequently during the school year. Many of our summer campers attend other schools in the districts nearby! Meeting 2 times a month, or more frequently based on the PODCAST programming!
