Hot off the Press – Family Strong Magazine, published by Army Reserve Family Programs.

Soon to be on line at www.arfp.org.  Check out the article on A Backpack Journalist – pages 2, 8 & 9.  A Backpack Journalist spent the weekend at Ft. Meade with youth from the 200th MP’s.  It was portrait time and the icebreaker:  Interviewing each other, public speaking (they introduced their new friend to the group) and then a short essay written and shared!

After action included a round table discussion on how to build their own youth council.  Just what do youth want?  Lots of creative challenges.  Forget just a tour.  They want more – to be challenged and learn!

The current issue of Family Strong also includes a column by Linda Talley, spouse of the CAR – Jeffrey Talley.  Linda writes for the first time!  Do not miss this issue!
