Raphael James, News Anchor for Live 5 News (live5news.com),  CBS, WCSC, Charleston, SC visited the A Backpack Journalist Class at Sanders Clyde Creative Arts School recently, and the results of his visit can be found on the Live5News – website!  He came to tell our “story” that includes the book we did on the Larry Doby.  Who is Larry Doby?  Just visit the Live5News website and find out!

So what did we learn about Raphael?  He is from a nearby community, and early in his life a teacher recognized his outgoing personality, and love of “talking”.   He was guided very early on towards public speaking and actually spent years in Radio!  From radio, he went into TV and now he’s with us in Charleston as a News Anchor for WCSC Live5News – CBS.
